Information we collect

  • Contact details (name, email, company) you provide when requesting a demo or joining the waitlist.
  • Account and sign-in data when you sign in to the PO2Order app: name, email address, password hashes or social-login identifiers, session and device information, and IP address.
  • Usage data from visits to po2order.com (pages viewed, device/browser details) collected via standard analytics.
  • Order and product data processed inside the PO2Order app to generate sales orders.

How we use information

  • To provide and improve the PO2Order app experience.
  • To sign you in, keep your account and sessions secure, and detect suspicious sign-in activity.
  • To respond to support, onboarding, and sales requests.
  • To operate security, auditing, and fraud-prevention controls.

How we share information

  • Service providers that support hosting, logging, analytics, and email communications.
  • Our authentication provider, Clerk, Inc., to manage sign-in and user accounts (see below).
  • Commerce platform and ERP APIs only as needed to create orders and fetch catalog data.
  • We do not sell your data and do not use customer order data for advertising.

Authentication provider

  • We use Clerk, Inc. (clerk.com) as our authentication provider. Clerk processes account and sign-in data on our behalf to sign you in and manage your sessions.
  • Clerk may store and process this data outside New Zealand, including in the United States.

Overseas disclosure

  • Some of our service providers store or process personal information outside New Zealand.
  • Where we disclose personal information to an overseas recipient, we do so only as permitted by Information Privacy Principle 12 of the Privacy Act 2020, for example where the recipient is required to protect the information in a way that, overall, provides comparable safeguards to those in the Privacy Act.

Cookies

  • We use essential cookies to keep you signed in to the PO2Order app and to secure your session. These cookies are required for sign-in to work.
  • Analytics cookies on po2order.com are only used if you accept them in our cookie banner.

Data security & retention

  • Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest for app data.
  • Least-privilege access with audit logging for sensitive operations.
  • We retain operational data only as long as necessary to deliver the service or comply with law.

Your choices

  • Request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing privacy@po2order.com.
  • Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message.
  • If you are not satisfied with our response to a privacy concern, you can complain to the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
